Female student falls through the window of an apartment located on the 4th floor of a building in Famagusta
A 24-year-old Cameroon student is currently receiving treatment at the General Hospital in Famagusta, north Cyprus after falling from her apartment window.
The incident happened at about 12:00p on Friday.
The victim identified as Marcienne Matemgouo Chengjou, 24 reportedly fell from a height of about 7 meters from the 4th floor of an apartment building in Sincan District, Famagusta.
Reports say she lost her balance while listening to the conversation of other occupants of the apartment and fell from the window and then landed on the concrete floor.
She was taken to the Famagusta State Hospital and kept under observation.
She is said to be in good condition as there was no danger to her life.
Police have launched an investigation into the incident.
