77-year-old man was stabbed and wounded by his son in North Cyprus
A 77-year-old man was stabbed and wounded by his son in a small village in North Cyprus on Thursday.
The incident happened at about 12:30pm on Thursday at Ilgaz village, near Lefkosa.
According to media report, the 77-year-old man was wounded with a knife in various parts of his body by his son for reasons not yet determined.
The injured man was taken to the Burhan Nalbantoğlu State Hospital in Lefkosa in an ambulance where he's currently receiving treatment while his son, 48 was arrested and detained.
