Pogba ‘welcome’ at Real
The Manchester Evening News
are among the papers to pick up on quotes from Real Madrid midfielder
Casemrio, who has talked up the potential arrival of Manchester United’s
Paul Pogba, who has been linked with a move to Spain in recent weeks.
"A world class player at his level can play in any team. If he
comes to Madrid he would be welcomed very well - we know he is a great
player," Casemiro told ESPN. "For sure he is now thinking about his next
Champions League game, that is type of person he is. We must respect
Manchester United also."
Meanwhile, Arsenal are hoping to persuade Ander Herrera not to join Paris Saint-Germain, the Mirror reports. The Manchester United midfielder looks set to leave Old Trafford with his contract expiring this summer, and though a deal with PSG is said to be close, Arsenal are said to be making an 11th-hour attempt to ensure the 29-year-old remains in England.
