North Cyprus deports 8 Pakistani nationals residing in the country illegally

Eight, out of 12 Pakistani suspects who were identified and arrested for illegally residing in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (KKTC) have been released from a Girne prison and deported back to their country.

In the weekly exercise to restore public order and traffic control in the country by the TRNC police, last week, 12 Pakistani nationals, 6, Turkish nationals and 4 Bangladeshis were held for residing in the country illegally.

They were taken to a court in Girne and investigation procedure opened against them.

Eight of them of were released on Saturday after 9 days of detention and then deported.
