Manchester United to make record bid for Koulibaly

Manchester United want Kalidou Koulibaly and Gareth Bale can leave Real Madrid.

Manchester United have made a world record bid for Kalidou Koulibally, according to a report in the Mirror. The club need to improve their central defensive options and Koulibaly has been rumoured as a target for a couple of seasons. The story claims that United bid £90 million for the 27-year-old Senegalese international, which would be a world record fee for a defender. They have also been linked with Toby Alderweireld of Spurs. 

Bale to be allowed to leave Real

Spanish newspaper AS reports that Gareth Bale's agents and representatives from Real Madrid met to discuss the winger's future. The story reports that Bale would want 19 million euros a year, and the player would cost around 175 million euros. 

Bayern Munich and Manchester United are the sides most interested in the player, and the club have said that because of Bale's commitment to the club and professional attitude, he will be able to chose which side he joins.
