Manchester City could break their transfer record while Salah to Real brew up

Manchester City’s current transfer record is the £60m spent on Riyad Mahrez last summer, but they could be set to narrowly break that due to their interest in Atletico Madrid midfielder Rodri. 

The Telegraph claims City will look to meet the 70 million euros (£60.6m) release clause for the youngster, who is seen as a long-term replacement for Fernandinho. 

Mohamed Salah has once more been linked with a move to Real Madrid following reports his relationship with Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has soured. The Mirror reports on speculation circulating via France's Telefoot that Salah is set to move to the Bernabeu in the summer. Last week, Spanish paper AS claimed Salah was nearing the exit door at Anfield, but the Egyptian’s agent Ramy Abbas Issa emphatically called out those rumours… 

Chelsea in for Coutinho? 

Another one from Telefoot, as the Mirror have picked up on reports Chelsea could rival Manchester United for the signature of Barcelona’s Philippe Coutinho. The Brazilian has been linked with a move away from the Nou Camp after a difficult year at the club, and the reports suggest he could head to Stamford Bridge should Eden Hazard join Real Madrid in the summer.
