Four young people caught with drugs along the Famagusta- Lefkosa highway

At least 4 young people were arrested in two different operations by the police in Famagusta after 14 grams of drug was found on them.

In the operation between April 4-5, on the Famagusta- Lefkosa  highway, 14 grams of drugs, 1 grinder and 5 wrapped cigarette believed to contain the drug were seized from them.

The four accused, A.E.S.A, 22, A.M.B, 24, S.Y.Y, 28 and R.T.B, 30, who were arrested in connection with the matter, were taken to court on Friday and a 3-day detention order was issued against them for investigation purpose.

Police said they were apprehended after they took notice of their suspicious movement.
