England goalkeeper filmed in vicious pub brawl! (video)
England goalkeeper Jordan Pickford was apparently caught up in a vicious pub brawl on a boozy night out.
Startling footage appears to show the Everton goalkeeper being held back by a crowd after the fight broke out in Sunderland on Monday night.
Footage obtained by The Sun is thought to show Pickford, 25, taking a swing towards another reveller as a group of men scrap outside the bar. It is not known if he was acting in self defence.
Horrified witnesses watch on as two mystery blonde women attempt to pull the man believed to be Everton keeper Pickford away from the clash.
They eventually manage to yank the man backwards with the help of a couple of blokes and drag him down the road.
A second video from a different angle shows the same man once again being pulled away from the group.
Onlookers can be heard shouting “Jordan” as the group of men brawl in the street.
The footage soon started to emerge on social media with users claiming Pickford was the man at the centre of the fight.
A spokesman for Everton Football Club said:
Video clips from the day show him looking unsteady on his feet as he continued the session at Ps&Qs bar in Sunderland’s Park Lane area.
It is not known what sparked the row, but it is thought to have lasted just a few seconds before it was calmed down.
