De Gea ready to leave Manchester United to PSG

Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea has made it clear what it will take to keep him at the club.

The 28-year-old Spanish international wants £350,000 a week to sign a new contract, or he will join French champions Paris Saint-Germain.

The Sun says that Thomas Tuchel’s club will offer £60 million for him in the summer to make him the long-term replacement for Gianluigi Buffon.

*** £60 million would be a healthy profit on the amount paid for De Gea when he joined from Atletico Madrid, but it would cost as least as much to replace him, and even then any replacement would be a step down in quality. United clearly have to pay the going rate for the best goalkeeper in the world, and they would be fools not to if they are planning on keeping Phil Jones and Chris Smalling at the club...
