11 People arrested for residing illegally in Famagusta, Girne and Güzelyurt
Eleven people were arrested for residing in the country illegally in an operation carried out in three districts on Saturday.
The operation by the TRNC Police Directorates, for public order was carried out between the hours of 9:00pm - 1:00am on Saturday night in Famagusta, Girne and Güzelyurt.
The operation was also taken to casinos, night clubs, betting houses and public places.
Illegal proceeding were initiated against them.
6 people were banned from entering casino and legal proceedings were brought against them.One person was arrested for possession of drugs at his disposal in Girne, while 18 vehicles were banned from traffic for various crimes.
In Guzelyurt, 3 people who were found to be residing in TRNC illegally were arrested and legal proceedings were initiated against.
1 car driver was banned from traffic due to alcohol offense.
