The severe floods in Haspolat due to heavy rain fall on Saturday caused many houses to be flooded in the area.

Citizens who were taken unaware had to empty their homes of water after the rain subsided.

Several areas in Haspolat, Hamitkoy and Lefkosa experienced serious flooding on Saturday as many roads were blocked to traffic.
