TRNC Met Office issues Yellow Weather Alert

The TRNC Met office on Saturday issued a yellow alert warning that more rain and local storms including hail should be expected though the night till Sunday.

Rain and local storms will persist on Saturday evening with temperatures dropping to 10C inland, 13C in coastal areas and 3C in mountain area where frost should be expected too.

The bad weather will continue on Sunday with no change in temperature.

Winds are expected also expected at times.

The yellow alert is in force until 4 pm on Sunday.

Drivers are warned to take care when driving while the public are advised to take precaution to avoid danger.
