Student who stole $500 at Hangover bar in Lefkosa wants to be deported

A student who stole $500 from Hangover bar in Lefkosa has been arrested and take to a court in Lefkosa.

The suspect reportedly stole the money kept at the back of a Samsung S7 brand phone on March, 16.

The incident was reported to the police on Tuesday March, 19 leading to the arrest of the suspect.

According to report by Turkish Cypriot daily, Yeneduzen, the suspect voluntarily gave testimony in court and pleaded guilt to the charges of theft brought against him.

He told the court that he wanted the court to grant him a fair judgement and send him back to his country.

He was ordered to be detained for not more than two months.
