Real Madrid eye £125m Pogba move, Juventus want Alderweireld

Real Madrid are eyeing a £125 million move for Paul Pogba whilst Juventus want to sign Toby Alderweireld.

We begin with an exclusive from The Sun that says Real Madrid are set to make a £125 million move to sign Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba. The 26-year-old recently admitted it would be a ‘dream’ to play for the club but the report reiterates that the World Cup winner is happy at United. However, it does also say that he doesn’t want to stay at Old Trafford for the rest of his career and Real will try to sign him in the summer. 

Juve want Alderweireld

We move now to The Mirror who report that Italian champions Juventus are interested in signing Toby Alderweireld in the summer. Part of the Belgian's contract extension puts in a temporary release clause of £25million but under new boss Solskjaer, Manchester United are reportedly no longer interested. That has interested Juve who want to sign more central defenders this summer. 

Wolves close to Jimenez deal

In The Telegraph it is exclusively reported that Wolverhampton Wanderers are closing in on turning the loan signing of Raul Jimenez into a permanent deal worth an initial £25 million which would be a club record. The fee has been agreed with Benfica and the deal could rise up to £30 million. 

Henry could return to Belgium

And we finish with an exclusive from The Sun which says that Belgium would be interested in bringing Thierry Henry back into their set-up. Henry was an assistant manager under Roberto Martinez but left for the chance to be the manager of Monaco. However, he was sacked and Martinez would be open to him returning but the Frenchman is still weighing up his next move.
