Jealous man threatens to kill ex girl friend sent to jail in Lefkosa

A Turkish man who entered the country on a 90-day tourist visa has been arrested for threatening to kill his girlfriend and two other people. 

The said incident happened on February, 25, 2019 in Lefkosa and he was arrested on March, 6 and taken to court on Thursday, March, 7.

The man reportedly accused his ex girlfriend of cheating and sent her death threat and violence on the ground that she met another man on social media.

The man told the police that he was angry because his ex was with another man. According to him, he tried to make peace with her on his birthday after inviting her over and spending the night together but got pissed off when he saw her attend a movie with another guy.

He was ordered to remain in jail for 11 days until trial.
