"I would have ‘jumped off the bridge’ if I was still coach when PSG lost to Man. United - Ancelotti

Former PSG Boss Carlo Ancelotti claims he would have “jumped off the closest bridge” had he been in charge of PSG’s brutal Champions League exit.

The French giants crashed out of Europe’s elite competition to Manchester United on Wednesday.

PSG won the first leg of the last-16 clash 2-0 at Old Trafford a fortnight ago.

And they looked destined to progress to the quarter-finals with United missing no less than TEN players through injury and suspension.

However, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s men triumphed 3-1 on the night, with Marcus Rashford’s last-minute penalty seeing them go through on away goals.

And it spelt more humiliation for big-spenders PSG, who seem unable to get close to winning the Champions League after dominating Ligue 1 in recent years.

And former PSG boss Ancelotti believes he would have struggled to accept the shock defeat.

Ancelotti, now at Napoli, said:

It was incredible. Incredible. If I had been on the PSG bench, I don’t know what I would’ve done. Probably find the closest bridge and jump off it.
