Fire outbreak at the Girne American University, GAU (video)

There was fire outbreak at the Girne American University, GAU in Girne in the early hours of Tuesday morning.

The fire from the kitchen section of the Millennium building of the university started from the fourth floor of the building at about 9:15am.

Fire fighters intervened quickly and helped extinguished the fire.

According to police report, the fire completely burnt an office and goods inside the building while the office adjacent to the secretary room was partially burned.

The cause of the fire is yet to be ascertain at the time of the report.
