Fake 100TL bank notes in circulation. warns Turkish Cypriot police

Police in Guzelyurt has issued a warning concerning fake 100 TL bank notes totaling 2,100 currently in circulation.

The said banknotes were found in the possession of an unidentified person in Guzelyurt on Wednesday.

The general public, including institutions, citizens, money exchange and traders are advised to be careful and report suspected people to the nearest police station.

Serial numbers of the 100TL banknotes totaling 2,100 and already in circulation are D428633518, D428633520, D428633522, D428633525, D428633529, D428633535, D428633537, D428633538, D428633538, D428633540, D428633538, D428633540, D428633541, D428633543, D428633545, D428633549 and D428633550.
