Cyprus Talks: Political equality essential in Cyprus - Turkish FM

Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu whi met with the United Nations Secretary General’s Temporary Special Consultant on the Cyprus issue Jane Holl Lute on Monday has said political equality is what he wants in Cyprus.

During the meeting, Çavuşoğlu stressed that political equality was essential in Cyprus.

In a short statement on his Twitter account Çavuşoğlu said 

We told Jane Holl Lute that all options are on the table for a comprehensive solution in Cyprus however stressed that the political equality of Turkish Cypriots is a sine qua non in all conditions.
