Chelsea under pressure over Zidane

Chelsea are now under pressure regarding their pursuit of Zinedine Zidane reports The Sun.

The Frenchman had been linked as a possible replacement for Maurizio Sarri should the Blues decide to change managers. However Zidane's former club Juventus have now entered the race with suggestions that Max Allegri will move on in the summer, so Chelsea need to act fast, a matter complicated by the 2-0 win over Tottenham Hotspur on Wednesday. 

*** It seems as if Zidane probably won't be ending up at Stamford Bridge any time soon. It's hard to see Zidane taking the Chelsea job given it is such a poisoned chalice. By contrast Juventus have a fantastic squad, ready to challenge for the Champions League, and he already has an emotional connection with the club.
