Protesting TRNC farmers blocked entry to Ercan Airport
The Turkish Cypriot Animal Producers and Breeders Association on Wednesday decided to enlarge their action by blocking the entrance to the Ercan Airport in Lefkosa.
The farmers blocked the road leading to the airport with tractors as airport passengers were denied exit and entry into the airport.
Passengers were forced to walk to the terminal passing through the protesting farmers with their suitcases and bags.
