Prisoner escapes from Lefkosa prison
A man who was sentenced to 18 months in prison and held at the Central Prison in Lefkosa has escaped.
Gokhan TAKIMCILAR, 25, who was sentenced to 18 months in prison for a crime he was convicted of, escaped from prison on Friday morning.
He was among a team of prisoners working at the a prison workshop when he escaped at around 10:00pm on Thursday.
Those who see the subject are kindly requested to inform the nearest police station, stated a police report.
