More students arriving the country detained at the Ercan Airport
Last week, we brought you a report about a Cameroonian who resisted being deported back to his country after just arriving the country for study purpose (read here). But he is not the only one with such issue as several others who came into the country for studies also faced being deported.
In the same week, We received a report about the same issue and it reads;
We can't for sure confirm if the TRNC government made a new rule/regulations to check the documents of students coming into the country for study but as we all know, the TRNC authorities are trying to get the country rid of miscreants, illegal residents, students who come to the island on pretense of studying but abandon it for other things among others.
We advise all prospective students to take caution and make every necessary documents available and should be original.
Anyone with similar report can email us and tell us their experience.

Hello boss hope you're doing good. Please I have a friend of mine who just got admission To CIU. He came in yesterday (Friday January 26) but was detained at Ercan airport locked in a room since yesterday (same date) because he doesn't have with him the original WAEC result though he has a stamped one from the ministry of education Nigeria. NO FOOD since yesterday nobody attended to them because he was detained with some other people which he doesn't know why. Please when did Kibris government make it a requirement to have original WAEC result. I will appreciate if you can post it because you are one of our voices on this land.
