Chelsea seeking Ole Gunnar Solskjaer effect, line up interim choice
The Telegraph believe the club are
preparing for imminent change rather than simply waiting for the end of
the season.
They think that the Stamford Bridge hierarchy will approach
the FA’s Steve Holland, who was once assistant manager at Chelsea, and
ask him to combine both roles until the end of the season.
***Holland has worked with
many of the Chelsea squad and left only two years ago. The club may be
taking the view that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has done well at Manchester United
because he provided a fresh change but also knew the club inside and
out before arriving. Whether he has the experience to take on a set of
players that go through managers so quickly is another thing.
