British woman on the run after pilling bill worth €1430 in a south Cyprus hotel

Greek Cypriot police are looking for a 52 year old British woman who stayed at a Paphos Hotel for 10 days, where she ran up a bill of €1430 and then vanished without paying.

According to the report by philenews, the woman had stayed at a hotel in Kato Paphos from February 3 to 13.

On Wednesday, hotel staff noticed that all her personal items were gone and she had disappeared. Hotel management reported the case to Paphos CID saying that the woman had run up a bill of €1430 during her stay which she had not settled.

Police have issued an arrest warrant and the woman is being sought for securing credit under false pretences.

Police investigations continue.
