All students in North Cyprus Universities must attend 70% of their classes or fail automatically

All international students studying in universities in North Cyprus are now required to attend at least 70 per cent of their classes begining from this semester.

According to information received by Olomoinfo Blog, the system on attendance has been deemed very important for international students by the TRNC authorities.

The system which was changed starting from this semester, mandates all students to attend at least 70% of their class in every course.

Any student who fails to get the required 70% attendance per course, will have his or her name excluded from the exam list and the system will automatically fail them by giving them a NA grade.

This new rule is valid for all courses.
