Turkish Cypriot police issues warning to car owners to change their car plate number before Jan. 31

The TRNC Police General Directorate’s Press Bureau has issued a reminder that in accordance with the Motor Vehicles and Traffic Act number plates of all motor vehicles must be changed by the 31^st of January.

According to the written statement issued by the police, all motor vehicles must change their number plates in accordance with the rules stated within the Motor Vehicles and Traffic Act by the 31^st of January 2019.

Drivers who have not changed their number plates and are caught driving on the roads will be fined in accordance with the law.
