TRNC recorded drop in December inflation rate

The inflation rate for December, 2018 was 1.49% lower in comparison to the previous month of November, the TRNC State Planning Organisation has announced.

The overall inflation rate for 2018 on the other hand was announced at 29.96%.

According to the Undersecretary of the State Planning Organisation the cost of living went down by 1.40% in December of last year.

On average the prices of 293 goods and services went up and the prices of 202 goods went down last month.
