Three caught with heroin at the Girne Port

The TRNC police have arrested three people at the Girne port after half a kilo of heroin was found on one of them.

One of the men, 35 was who entered the country through the Girne port on Thursday morning was arrested for carrying half a kilo of heroin into the country while the two other accused, 35 and 36 years old, were arrested in connection with the incident.

In a search carried out at the home of the other two accused, police found what is believed to be a total of 200 mlgr cocaine-type drugs in the home of one of the suspect, while live bullets of  9mm was found in the home of the other suspect.

All three accused were arrested.
