Student beats ex-girl friend because she left him
A man has been arrested in Gönyeli, for beating his ex girlfriend because she left him.
The man, Suhrab S. who was arrested on charges of assault on Wednesday, January 2, commiited the crime in December.
The accused, who is a student in the country was brought before a Lefkosa court on Friday.
He was released on bail and banned from travelling out of the country until trial.
