Nigerian delivers first baby of the year 2019 in North Cyprus
The first baby born in 2019 in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) was by a Nigerian.
18 -year-old, Misi Mina Kasaka from Nigeria (age, not confirmed) delivered a bouncing baby girl at the Dr Burhan Nalbantoglu State Hospital in Lefkosa at about 7:20am on Tuesday January, 1, 2019.
The baby was weighing 3.45 kilos at the time of birth.
The day's second baby, also a girl, entered the world less than two hours later, at 8.45am and weighing 2.7 kilos, to the delight of mother Şerife Alagözlü, 30.
