EMU engineering students win Mind-controlled robot competition in Estonia
A team of student engineers from the Eastern Mediterranean University, north Cyprus and their mind-controlled Crow robot have emerged winner of their category at the Robotex
International 2018 competition held in December, 2018 in Tallinn, Estonia.
Electronic Engineering head Hasan Demirel and team members Hüseyin Çeçe, Shehabeldin Housein, Farhang Naderi, Burak Özarslan and Yazan Abuaisha developed their robot in 2018.
The Electrical and Electronics, Information Systems and Mechatronics Engineering students were the sole contestants to complete their task of manoeuvring their robot around a 4m-by-4m track within two minutes.
