Drunk man punched sick wife at Lefkosa hospital

A man was handed over to the police by the management of the Burhan Nalbantoğlu State Hospital, in Lefkosa for punching his sick wife at the hospital.

The man reportedly punched his wife who was a patient at the hospital on Wednesday afternoon.

Hospital staffs quickly intervened and saved the woman from more abuse. 

Police later arrived and took the man away.

According to report, the man was under the influence of alcohol when he assaulted his wife.
