Chelsea reject Willian offer from Barca, Arsenal want Suarez and Banega

Chelsea have rejected a bid from Barcelona for Willian whilst Arsenal want Denis Suarez and Ever Banega. It's Friday's Paper Round.

Chelsea reject Barca offer for Willian
We begin with a report from The Telegraph that says Chelsea have rejected a bid worth £50 million for Willian from Barcelona. It was widely reported on Thursday evening that the Spanish champions had offered a deal containing winger Malcom and cash which equated to £50 million. However the Telegraph report says that Chelsea have rejected that as they feel the Brazilian is worth more.

Arsenal want Banega and Suarez
The Telegraph says Arsenal are interested in signing Denis Suarez and Ever Banega on loan in January. The news comes after Unai Emery admitted the club would have to sign players on loan rather than buy permanently.

Man Utd increasingly open to Solskjaer long-term
The Mirror carry a report that Manchester United are increasingly open to the idea of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer managing the team long-term. Solskjaer initially took the job on an interim basis but he has impressed thus far. The club still want Mauricio Pochettino as their first-choice but are more open to Solskjaer.

City want £50m Rice
Premier League champions Manchester City are interested in signing Declan Rice from West Ham. City boss Pep Guardiola is wary of Fernandinho's ageing legs and wants to freshen up his midfield. He has watched Rice and considers him an option although West Ham could demand £50 million.
