Student who murdered Libyan student in 2017 sentenced to 20 years in prison
Student who was arrested and taken to court for the allege murder of Libyan student, Mohamed Jumma Salem Attroug in December, 2017 has been sentenced to 20 years in prison for murder.
Mohamed Jumma Salem Attroug, 22 was reportedly stabbed to death at the balcony of his house in Alsancak, following an argument over a girl on December, 30, 2017 in Alsancak Girne.
He died on his way to the hospital.
Mohamed was reportedly stabbed six times with a knife by his attacker.
Three suspects were arrested and arraigned before a Girne court following the incident.
The court on Tuesday, December, 18 sentenced Maxim Hamed Mohammad Al-Ja Afreh, a Jordanian to 20 years in prison for the murder.
