GAU extends help to flood disaster citizens in Dikmen

The Girne American University (GAU), which was heavily affected by the flood disaster in Dikmen region is extending help to affected citizens.

GAU Founding Rector Serhat Akpinar stated in a written statement on Monday that in line with the decision taken by university, with the support of the Disaster Management Department of GAU and with the support of AKUT Club, the disaster victims in Dikmen will provide unlimited assistance in the cleaning and water evacuation points of the flooded houses. 

He also added that mattresses, blankets and similar needs will be supplied.

He called on those who need help to apply to the Rectorate.
