Four arrested in Famagusta for illegal residency
Four people including students were arrested for illegal residency in the TRNC during a raid by the Famagusta police department on Friday night.
The arrest was made between the hours of 9:00pm on Friday and 12:00am on Saturday.
Those arrested for illegal residency includes, two Turkish citizens and two Nigerians.
The two Turkish citizens were arrested in a casino operating in Magusa and has both been residing in the TRNC since August 2017, and August 2012 respectively while the two Nigerians were arrested in a night club operating in Famagusta and has been in the country since 2013, and October 2018.
They were brought before a Famagusta court on Sunday and given a two day detention order pending investigation.
