Earthquake felt again in Limassol, south Cyprus
An earthquake of magnitude of 3.1 was felt in the wider Limassol area in the early hours of Tuesday.
According to the Cyprus Geological Survey Department, a light tremor was recorded at 1.53 am. The epicentre was at a depth of 3 km northeast of Limassol at a depth of 2 km. The department said the situation is being monitored.
This was the third tremor to be felt in Limassol in the past few days after two that were recorded at 3.30 am and 3.35 am in the early hours of Sunday morning, the first of a magnitude 3.6 and the second of a magnitude of 3.1.
Their epicentre was at a depth of 3 km.
