Cyprus Flood Disaster: Break through as body of the fourth missing person found

Following a well documented effort to locate the body of the fourth missing person, a break through was reached on Saturday when a corpse was found approximately 150 meters above the pond.

Gaye Soyutok, 18 has been missing since December, 5 when when a car carrying four people, all Turkish Cypriot was swept away by flood in Ciklos, along the Girne-Lefkosa highway.

The body of three people were recovered after the incident but that of a fourth person remained missing.

In a statement by the police on Saturday, it said "the corpse of the missing person was found approximately 150 meters above the pond.

Investigation is in progress," the police press officer said in a statement.
