4 Killed, 12 homes, 93 roads, 143 vehicles damaged in TRNC flood disaster - Report

According to initial findings by the TRNC Ministry of Interior, 12 houses / buildings, 93 roads and drains, 90 household items and 143 vehicles were damaged in last week's flood disaster in several part of the country.

Also, 57 people were affected by the floods, while 16 people received help.

The finding is the first since the disaster on Wednesday December, 5 that also left 4 people dead when their car was taken away in the flood.

The Ministry, in a statement sent condolences to the families of those who died in the flood.

Following the flood disaster caused by heavy rain in the country, authorities quickly established a crisis desk.

Relief materials including quilt, pillow, blanket, bed sheet, food package and cleaning set were delivered to citizens who suffered damaged due to the disaster.

Citizens numbering 57 were provided with shelter while those who are not able to stay in their houses were hosted in various hotels.
