21 illegal Syrian migrants arrested at Famagusta port
At least 21 Syrian illegal migrants were detected in two ships at the Famagusta port at the weekend.
The ship from port of Mersin, Turkey was searched by a team of immigration after it docked at the port in Famagusta on Saturday.
The migrants were found hidden in a container.
10 of the illegal immigrants, all men were arrested and taken to the Port Police Station while 11 who were not in good health were taken to a hospital in an ambulance.
