Special announcement to all international students in North Cyprus (TRNC)

Due to the recent police crack down on miscreants and illegal residents in the TRNC, all international students are advised to take caution and always go around with a valid identity card.

Following the events of November, 24 in Famagusta, November 26 -27 in Girne and Lefkosa, it is advisable all foreign students in the TRNC take caution and carry their identity card (School ID or International passport) around. 

The resident permit (Muhacheret) process should be taken seriously and if you are yet to start the process, please do so now. (You can contact me on +905488750890 for assistance for a little token).

There are several reports of the system not working well, the TRNC Ministry of Interior is doing something about it.

Everyone is advised to 
-Obey the laws of the country, 
-Stay away from trouble, 
-Avoid crowded environment, 
-Make sure you are registered with a university and attending classes too,
- Shun criminal and illegal activity,
-Don't do drugs.
-Don't fight.
