Snoop Dogg gets a star on Hollywood walk of fame
US hip-hop star, Snoop Dogg, has earned his place in the world of acting as he just got a star on Hollywood walk of fame.
Snoop Dogg’s star on Hollywood walk of fame was unveiled yesterday at El Capitan Entertainment Center on Hollywood Boulevard, and the event was attended by talk show host Jimmy Kimmel, record producer Quincy Jones, Pharrell Williams and the rapper Dr. Dre.
In his acceptance speech, Snoop Dogg thanked friends and family and further ended his speech with “I want to thank me.”
The
rapper who got his stage name from his mother Beverly who joked he
looked like the Peanuts character Snoopy, got the 2,651st star on the
famed walk.
