Real want Rashford and Eriksen
Real Madrid are interested in making two signings from the
Premier League of one of the target is Manchester United striker Marcus
Rashford.
Real have sent scouts to watch United in the past, but it was assumed the targets were Romelu Lukaku and Paul Pogba, but it is reported that Rashford is the real target.
They are also considering a bid of £50 million for Tottenham’s Christian Eriksen, who could succeed Luka Modric in midfield.
Given there are no contract worries for either Rashford or Eriksen, it makes no sense that bids between £40m-50m would be enough to secure either player, as both clubs would presumably be looking for double than in the event of any sale.
Rashford has shown only brief flashes of potential of late, too, so it is hard to credit that the Champions League holders would be especially keen on him.
Eriksen, however, would be an excellent replacement for Modric if he could adapt to the position.
