Kazakhstan national arrested or sending stolen money to his family

A Kazakhstan national have been arrested in Alsancak for sending stolen money to his family.

The accused, Saveroin Kadyrov from Kazakhstan was arrested when he went to extend his visa at the immigration office.

He was arrested on November, 5 and taken to a court in Girne on accusation of stealing and sending about 3,585 dollars and 300 euros to his family back home.

The accused reportedly stole the money from a man who had tried to help him when he couldn't find a place to stay in Alsancak.

He confessed to the crime in court and apologized for his behavior.

I'm very sorry, I can regret that I can bring back the money, he said in court.

He was sent to prison for a period not exceeding 45 days until his trial.
