Girl arrested in Güzelyurt after post photos of her wearing stolen clothes on social media

A girl who stole clothes and jewelry from a hotel where she worked in have been arrested after she posted photos of herself wearing them on social media.

Damla Sazan, was arrested and taken to court in Güzelyurt on Wednesday October, 31 after she shared photos of herself wearing the stolen items on social media.

According to report by Turkish Cypriot media, Havadis, Sazan, a student in the country dropped out of school to take up a job in a hotel in the country.

She stole the items from her colleague by secretly entering her lodge adds the report.

Police say she stole a items worth 4,200TL including a wristwatch, necklace, dress, perfume, bag and jewelry.

She confessed to the crime  and was given a two day detention order pending  investigation.
