Cyprus Weather Report: Warm weather to persist through weekend

No sign of winter as November kicked in with temperatures rising to 30C inland and slightly lower on the coast in the runup to the weekend.

Coastal areas expect to see temperatures between 27C to 29C while higher areas should expect maximum temperatures of 20C.

At night it will cool down to 13C in the Nicosia/Lefkosa area, and 16C near the coast.

On Saturday, temperatures will drop slightly, but they will remain higher than normal for this time of the year, especially in the west of the island, where no significant change is expected.

According to the Met office, the weather will be sunny until Sunday, when clouds will build up in the afternoon and some rain may fall, most likely in the mountains.
