1 person injured in traffic accident in Lefkosa

One person was injured in a traffic accident in Lefkosa on Wednesday morning.

According to police report, the incident happened at about 08.30am on the Osman Örek Street in Lefkoşa.

A car driven by a 28-year-old woman had stopped by the road side due to engine fault when it was hit by a jeep driven by a 48-year-old man from behind.

A 26-year-old female passenger in the car was slightly injured in the accident and taken to the Lefkosa State Hospital for treatment.
