Turkish man rapes British woman in North Cyprus

A Turkish man has been arrested and detained for raping a 35-year-old British woman in Çatalköy.

According to police report, the accused, Yunus Timur, allegedly raped the 35-year-old woman in Çatalköy on Thursday night.

Timur was taken to the Kyrenia District Court on Friday and a 3-day detention order was issued against him.
