Taxi driver stabbed six times in Alayköy night club

A commercial taxi driver was seriously injured in the early hours of Wednesday after he was stabbed six times in a night club parking lot in Alayköy.

According to police report, the incident happened at about 1:00am on Wednesday at the parking lot of the Gold Night club in Alayköy.

According to report, the 33-year-old taxi driver identified as Mehmet Avkıran was stabbed for unknown reason following an argument with his attacker.

He was stabbed six times with 4 on his back and 2 in the front. He was rushed to the hospital in Lefkosa.

Police are investigating the incident.
